About COCU-Uganda

We are a registered not-for-profit organisation rooted in the Busoga region of Eastern Uganda, working alongside communities to build dignified, self-sustaining lives.

Chazon Opportunities Centre Uganda (COCU-Uganda) is a registered not-for-profit organisation founded in 2024 and headquartered in Bugiri Municipality, Busoga Region, Eastern Uganda. Reg. No: 80034620093755.

The name Chazon comes from the Hebrew word for "vision", reflecting our belief that lasting change begins with a clear and hopeful vision for every person we serve.

We work alongside communities, local governments, and civil society to address poverty, inequality, and environmental vulnerability across all 11 districts of Busoga.

Unemployed and out-of-school youth ages 15-35, women and girls lacking economic independence, schools without WASH infrastructure, persons with disabilities, and small-scale entrepreneurs.
